I just purchased the game and the latest patch causes the same GPF that others are having.
I just read that the 12/15/2011 patch works so I'll download and try it.

I've tested the 12-15-2010 version and it's works with last update (12/13/2011)
I tested Super Health, Super Ammo and Money on Evil Santa Lair map. I haven't got any crashs

It seems that the 12-14-2011 patch has made using the ammo and clip cheats even more unstable, but everything else works fine still, glad they fixed the sharpshooter perks.
