So basically the story here is, Trainer and game do not wish to mix, with AC games, that is pretty much standard. Happened in Brotherhood and AC2. Nothing new. Just have to replay, or watch the walkthroughs, know where the scenes are gonna come off, and turn off crap as needed.
An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest. I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.
yeah im just playing storylien without it for now and knocking over challenges in my own time. i figure after i do bomb craft part of challenge and story is done ill start using trainer for anyhting i did not 100%. so far done first 3 chapters 100% without it so i may luck out and not need it for this game.

I know this thread is already some days old, but unfortunately I ran into exactly that issue at 84% playthrough, therefor my motivation to startover from scratch is limited. I can not craft any more tactical bombs other than spikes via quick fabrication in the weapon menu and when I enter the blackmarket dealer's menu game crashes/ freezes after a couple of seconds, so I can't even buy any bomb for the tactical slot
does anybody have an idea or maybe cal ? I would love you even more than I already do if you could find a way to fix this...
just one idea: would it be possible to remove all currently eqipped bombs ? maybe this'll help otherwhise I'd send you a current savegame if you want. version is 1.03 retail, but this should make no difference.
I know this is an old issue, but I've found a fix that works.
Go to a crafting station and dismantle your bugged/undefined bombs. If you can't, buy some and then dismantle. Now, EXIT the crafting station. Open it back up and craft a bomb. Should still look glitched. Exit out, go to your quick wheel (Q) and select the empty bomb spot. Add only TWO bombs. Adding 3 glitches it up. With only 2 bombs, you regain the use of said bombs.
Start a mission. Any mission that requires a resource load. Complete it but be sure not to use all of your bombs or replenish them to 3 or more.
After you complete the mission, your bombs will be refilled to 3 and you can begin crafting. JUST DON'T USE UNLIMITED AMMO AGAIN!

Hope this helps.
actually that helped me out of this buggy sit. thanks, man.
I am having a much more aggravating bug. The quest "Loose Lips" does not progress because I am unable to command the hired thieves to lure the benefactor out. I can press "B" on the game pad but it actually just makes them "follow" or "stop", no luring or whatsoever.
I tried reloading, aborting memory, rebooting pc, etc (a dozen times cuz actually that worked for some bomb quests) but for this it does not help. I really hope that someone is still playing this and might have a solution since I have already googled and the advices that come up don't help at all. Note: I don't use the trainer except for health, that's the only option i use. Tried this with trainer off/on, loaded, unloaded, doesn't change anything, it's game related.
