So, using my current profile, I disabled my internet, and it signed me in offline... And it still crashes, my game is on Steam if that helps people at all, also the only option I activated was the Unlimited Health.

I too have been having similar, random crashes, lock ups etc., either with or without the trainer. I've also been been playing Skyrim this week and used the 4gb patcher for that as my Win7-64bit, i7-950 and 16gb wasn't been fullu used. I used that same patcher on the B:AC exe and I have not had a crash for over 2 hours. I've also been running the last hour with PhysiX and DX11 without too much slow down or any crashes. I can't believe it can be something as simple as this because I know that the DX11 code is screwed up but so far this is working for me and I'm not talking about any kind of placebo effect here, I was CTD or locking up between 5-15 minutes a session, if I paused at a menu to go for a ciggie, make a coffee, the game would completely lockup or go weird and crash so I hope it's not a false hope but this 4gb patcher is working for me.

I'd just like to also post, that I also tried putting Steam in offline mode also... Still no dice.

I just played the game for 25 minutes in offline mode for GFWL and the game crashed. Keep in ind that I am playing the retail version and since I reinstalled the game I have not signed in to GFWL or downloaded the update for live.

Where are the save games for this located? I have went though all the files I could think of looking for it, but I have had no luck finding anything. I found a folder under Documents\WB Games\Batman Arkham City\SaveData but it was empty. Any help would be appreciated.
First you did look in right folder because thats where I found my savegame.
But the reason that yuo might not be able to see the savegame is because you may need to change your folder option in the control panel so you can see hidden folders and files. That is what I have my file and folders option set for.
Also some people have reported but I don't know if this is accurate that savegames have been disappearing from the savegame folder.
Well, apparently with the Steam version that is not where your profile (save game) is kept. After doing some more searching I found it. To bad I don't have a previous version of the folder I can revert to because I am stuck right after the Demon Trial. Now I get to start over.
I have the same issue : being stuck just after de Demon Trial. First by a visible wall, then (each and every other time) by an invisible one. I found that if I crouch I can go a little further, but not much, and it also stops everything I throw in its direction.
Very annoying. And not even sure this glitch will cease to be if I start the game all over again !
Edit : And Securom erased all my saves ! Well, at least I won't have to use another slot to start all over again ... ing Securom !
