i'm trying to find out if the #2 trainer works with the steam download copy of the game i've tryed other trainers and all have caursed the game to crash

so did you try it? report your findings please

The trainer for Patch #2 works with the current Steam version. Just tested it with no CTD or any other issues. All options are working properly. Enjoy!

Thanks! I just got Metro 2033 at Steam and was wondering that too.

Apparently I am doing something wrong. I have the game on Steam and have tried the various suggestions (ALT-TAB etc.) but when I try to engage the trainer in the game I get "Trainer can not find game." Some help would be appreciated.

If you have the steam version make sure its updated! and use
1. METRO 2033 MEGA TRAINER (PATCH #2)

if its not finding the game turn off all security programs you are running including your anti virus. As these can affect how the trainer runs.

Also if its still not finding it even with the trainer in the folder. I would advise to stop using any no cd fix's etc and even buy the proper game if you are not using it!

Also note all games ran in steam should have steam set to Admin mode as well as having the trainer in admin mode to.

it works fine for me just a shame the game glitches in the market still

I was about to buy Metro 2033, but figured I'd check to see if there was a trainer first, saw this thread, and this comment. Now I'm not going to buy it. What is the glitch you are talking about? Is it bad? Game breaking? I need to know so I can decide whether or not to buy the game. I have Metro: Last Light the sequel to this game and played it a bit, but it made think I should play this one before going any further, to get the whole story.
