Can anyone tell me how to get my saves back on Steam please ? The stats are there saying when l last played and achievements but it just says new game, l tried Steam FAQ and support but got no where
Ignore that message pinshock, l found it, there are two files under same name but they will not let me open anything, it says windows need to do search can you tell me what l should do now please, how do l get them back into steam ?
Your saves are located in your (C:\Users\You\Documents\My Games\Skyrim\Saves) Directory.
Now I am going to suspect there has been a glitch in your steam. This has happened to me before on other games. Where my saves just disappear from the game. Except they are still in the directory. Now try virefiing the game files via steam. If that dose not sort it out when you start the game again un install the game and reinstall.
Also you will not be able to open save files manually and theres no need to move them to anywhere else.
No l could get nothing done on it sorry, txtd my son to ask how to do virefling but l could not understand it l am not that technical minded, I started a new game, strange my stats with hours played and time still adding on from last one.
