Hi.
I am a lifetime unlimited member and downloaded a few trainers for the games I have of my computer. When I run a trainer (doesn't matter which one), it's initializing and running and even feedbacks when I run it in the game (saying "Activated" in the main menu of the game and says "on"/"activated" while in the game when pressing the designated hotkeys. The problem is that even after all that, the actual cheat doesn't take real effect in the game!
Now, I have switched my anti-virus software from AVG 2012 Free version to Microsoft Security Essentials, I have the built-in firewall off and of course I have tried working with the trainers after countless restarts of the computer.
My system is Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit (English) with all the latest updates installed (a legal and full version).
What can be the reason for this weird situation? What do I need to check more in order in order to figure out this issue and get these trainers to work properly??
Thank you in advance.

Does your trainer version match your game version? The latest trainer version is not a catch-all for previous versions of the game (you must download the version that corresponds to your game version).

how can I know this for sure? I mean, how do I know what version is the game and how do I know which version of the trainer matches it? Thanks.

Right click your game exe file and look at the details panel. It will list the version here.
