Hello everyone, I was just curious. How do you start romances? Can you only romance companions or are there other possiblities too? Can you get married? Can you have children?

I don't know about the children part...

I asked the same sort of question on Gamefaqs:
To get married you need to Loot/Buy an Amulet of Mara, I know one is found in Bleak Caverns, the other you buy from a Priest in Riften. Wearing it will open up marriage dialogue to certain prospects who you've done a deed for.

Well, I have the amulet of mara and I'm wearing it even though I'd rather wear other amulets and I even did the Mara quests from a priestess in Riften but I never see any romance dialog (I'm a man) when talking with any of the women I should be able to romance, one being an aspiring caravan worker that I got a mammoth tusk for and the other being Aela the Hundress of the companions, they were both on a list of people that can be romanced. I never see ANY romance dialog though, what am I doing wrong or missing?

I uh, can't say too much because I don't want to spread spoilers around.

But are you aware of Aela's true nature? Did you uh, perform a certain ritual underneath the forge to turn you into something?

ooo this is cool. Altho am not sure about the having kids bit. Its bad enough the brats are arrogant buffoons.
