Is there anyways of editing the console to remove me from being in the Imperial Legion? i did'nt know there was a choice @helgen of either choosing imperial or stormcloaks. im a NORD n ofc i wna be a stormcloak! im a bloody imperial! i have tried everything i can think of to get thrown out.. nothing works. so maybe i can edit the console or the actual game data somewhere and change it to stormcloaks.
You might be able to remove yourself from the faction with the "removefromfaction" command. The problem is, I'm really not sure which faction that is. There are a few factions that mention "Imperial" in their description.
If you can find out, you might have a chance of reversing it.

ok heres what I did to rank up and get perks. first I advanced one level then activated the trainer so I would not lose that point by advancing a perk. The console command I used was player.incpcs XXXXX X is the skill I wanted takes a long time if you do not have any doors to go through. Doors stop the counting, but you still get the skill points. What I'm finding is that you do not rank up by using the spells, if it was at novice then it will stay at novice. Take flames for example I use it in every encounter yet I do not advance. Which brings me to my question? Is there any way to advance this skill and all the other spells? If anyone knows the console command can you send them my way.
Its not player.addshout XXXXXXX its player.teachword XXXXXXID number. almost all shouts have three levels so you will have three values for each and they work right off the bat if you got enough dragons souls to activate them.
