How is the game? Does anyone who has played the game like it?

I read on another board that people were having problems getting the game to run. From what I read it seems that people are having trouble getting the game to run when they download it from steam instead of installing it from a disk.

I would really like to know what people who have played the game think of it.

I played it for the x-box 360 and I enjoyed it. Searching for clues and questioning suspects was pretty fun. The shooting and car chases is nice. Plus, there are random events like the civilians you can talk to in GTA IV which is nice.

The only real complaint I had was that 3/4 of the way through the game. The story kinda went downhill a bit. There is one part in the story that happens and it is never explained why it happened. It really irked me that it never explained why it happened.

So far, its one of THE best looking games I've ever played, as well as being super entertaining, I simply cannot stop playing it.

I know what you mean. When I did start playing it yesterday afternoon I played it for 79 minutes and it didn't feel like it had been 79 minutes by the time I was done.

By the way I'm playing the Steam version of the game I wish I had bought the retail version instead.

I'm HUGELY impressed by the faces, the first time one of the faces started wrinkling up in midconversation to take on the natural relaxed posture it turned nearly uncanny. That is a detail they've REALLY gone indepth with.

But I don't know about the story yet, I've only played the first half an hour of the game. But damn it those faces

I agree 1000% with that, the faces is the one thing that really made that game WOW. I am loving the game, the only reason I haven't kept playing, is because I dont want to finish it (im about 50% done) without the trainer. Even though, to be honest I haven't had need for it.

So far there is only one thing that has me REALLY buggled, the doubt-function doesn't seem to have any real function whatsoever, it jsut seems to be a sort of filler for situations a writer didn't really know how to handle and to leave a spectre of better mechanics. Whenever there is a thing that is circumstancial it ALWAYS wants the lie function, but really, what is the justification between just running that black-and-white scheme for it ? As an example : Spoiler:
You ask about the breakfast for two in the apartment of Gabriel, and what you end up with is the lie-function, what is with that ? Seems a little to me like a lazy writer didn't really want too much intrigue in it... I can understand a strain on his fingers though, I hope the guy didn't end up developing arthritis or something !
. There is also a few times where the facial expressions doesn't fit the functions, it isn't because they are downright unreadable, but they just seem to have been accidentally rendered by the game a few times through.

Other than that I really enjoy this game so far, but I'll need to put in more hours to completely justify saying that it's good
