Now I have to say from just the demo the game looked dam well fine for me on my laptop. Core2 duo 3gb DDR ram ATI 2400HD So just by going by that the game is going to run fine for me on my laptop
These are the Recommended for all three Mass Effects...
=============================================================== Mass Effect ONE--Recommended System Requirements =============================================================== Operating System: Windows XP or Vista Processor: 2.6+GHZ Intel or 2.4+GHZ AMD Memory: 2 Gigabyte Ram Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GTX or higher. ATI X1800 XL series or higher
=============================================================== Mass Effect TWO--Recommended System Requirements =============================================================== Operating System: Windows XP SP3 / Windows Vista SP1 / Windows 7 Processor: 2.6+ GHz Intel Core 2 Duo or equivalent AMD CPU Memory: 2 GB RAM Video Card: ATI Radeon HD 2900 XT, NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT, or better recommended
=============================================================== Mass Effect THREE--Recommended System Requirements =============================================================== Operating System: Windows XP SP3 / Vista SP1 / Win 7 Processor: 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo or equivalent AMD CPU Memory: 2GB for XP / 4GB RAM for Vista/Win 7 Video Card: AMD/ATI Radeon HD 4850 512 MB or greater, NVidia GeForce 9800 GT 512 MB or greater ===============================================================
Now ME1 didn't say single-core or dual, but anyone that ran a high-end single core knew it was pretty bad and we had a couple of hotfixes for us single-core users. So it would seem like they meant to put Dual-Core in those Reqs for ME1 but didn't state it. But, if you just look at the SysReq for the 3 games, besides the GPU, nothing has changed. I Applaud This! Between ME1 and ME2 the code was cleaned up so much that it looked so much better and ran a lot smoother. Also, ME3 has even a Lower CPU requirement (requires a little better GPU though) than ME2 and states 4G RAM for Vista/7, which usually goes without saying for games since 2010. It's the same DirectX, Same CPU, Same HDD Space (me1 was 12g where me2/3 are 15g).
So, the blanket question "I ran ME1 and ME2, can I run ME3?" can have the blanket answer, "Yes, and ummm Sure.. and Yup."
