I have on occasion found my self in the necessity to run a game as Admin, otherwise it would crash. The problem here is that when I do so the trainer can't recognize the game. Can somebody help me?
    Thanks.

You must also be running the game as admin in these cases.

Sorry Neo7, I must have't made my self clear. Some of my games, for reasons I don't know must be run as Admin, otherwise they crash when I try to start them. In these cases, when i press F1 the trainer won't recognize the game. Running the trainer as Admin has also not shown any difference.

Check the game version of the game .exe you are running, for example, torrent games, dc+ etc. will not be the same as steam games, bought from a shop legit games as the versions will be different (updates, expansions etc.).
Every trainer has a game version in its description, so check it against your own actual game version - if its not the same, it will not run as the trainer may or may not find the game, if it is a cracked game - it can crash, if it has different version - some options can work - some not.. or it can just crash the game (even you heard Trainer Activated - it doesn't mean that it will work if the game version is different from trainer.
So, play legit games and u will get trainers to work ^_^

P.S. Sorry for my bad English and I hope you got the idea.

Thanks for the reply Anhelion. What I find interesting is that the two games I had problems with both crashed after the cinematics, but could be normally run if started as Admin. Running the game normally the trainer could find the game if I tried to activate it during the introduction movie, but not if I run the game the other way. What I was thinking was something like: The trainer looks for a certain process running in the pc memory, and when it finds the right process it starts to write over it, but when I run as Admin such process is identified differently so the trainer can't find the game. I don't know if I'm working with the right idea here, but anyway, thanks again.

Indeed - a trainer finds the game process in the PC memory when you press F1, but it does not write until you press a desired option (for example cash, resources etc. (not confirmed, could be wrong)) you can actually confirm if the trainer is the problem by simply running the game without the trainer - if it crashes then the problem is elsewhere.

Speaking about run as Admin - you give permissions to a program to access the process which otherwise would be denied by windows itself as a security mechanism. There have been cases where some games just crash on certain system configurations - usually with illegally downloaded games, but there is a possibility that it could crash with legal ones as well. Try always to install programs which comes with the game such as DirectX, VB2000 or other software it provides, even if you have the newest DirectX - sometime they include customized one and this can prevent the game from launching properly.

Hope this helps, try some running the game without trainer - if it doesn't work, its not the trainer - try installing from the installation disc software like DirectX.

If it works, then check trainer/game version - if it is a match, then the question is - is the game legal or illegally downloaded?

As for most users the trainers work great without any problems (Thank you CH for the hard work).
