Mass Effect is definitely one to try. I loved the second one when I played it on PS3.
BioShock is another great game. I would recommend playing both of them. They both have great stories and will make you jump at certain points of the game.
if you want jump then dead space is the only way to go anyone who tells you that it didnt make them **** the first time a necromorph jumps you is a no good lair

One of my friends owns Dead Space. Im not a big fan of horror games/movies, so if I play/watch one I have to do it with a friend over during the day. Haha
