I'm wondering if the collectors editions of the Game and Guide are worth it. I really want the dragon statue that comes with the games CE, and I'd get the CE guide just to have a complete set, but I'm conflicted on if it's worth it or not. I really, really like dragons, but $150 for the game seems a bit much. It used to be I didn't care about the price, but things have changed...I once bought the CE of Halo Reach just because of the statue, and I haven't looked at it since, the game was good. So if I get this, I want to make sure I'll get my moneys worth.

I am getting the Collector;s Edition along with the Collector's Edition guide. I can't wait to open it and place the statue and art book on my bookshelf.

I got the collector's edition from Bethesda for free, and even I wouldn't buy it. It's simply a rip off token to be 'limited' just by saying it is 'limited' and yet stores are still taking preorders on it 11 days before release. It's just a gimmick.

Well, I called GameStop the other day and they said they usually cut off Collectors Edition pre-orders a week before release. I've decided to get it simply because I can't resist the Dragon Statue...I'll get the guide just because I like to have all the information at my fingertips. Probably won't use it for the first hundred hours though, might just look at all the perks and things, won't look at the walkthrough section.

YES! i have collectors edition. the Boxset is beautifuly presented packed with goodies. the Art work in the book is amazing! inc dvd of the making of. and ofc the model of the dragon perched on some rock 12'' and superb detail. is it worth £130.00? Absoloutly! i have mine money well worth spent.
