Well the my problem is....when i get to the mission where you need to take over 3 rats castles, after im about to go for the second one(after working my bottom off to get the first one)the game crashes i said, its okay it happens. But!after the 3rd attempt i think its not worth trying xD
Hey, if you don't wanna spend 50 or 60 bucks, why not wait till price drops? I get games like that and sometimes 50 dolllar game comes out for 10-12 bucks.
Grab it then.
Patience is virtue.

The issue (nor OP's reason for making the thread) isn't that the game isn't worth $50 - it's that the game flat out has no solid points. Stronghold is supposed to be about building up a keep that you would want your ass in if an army wanted your head, and having realistic mechanics behind it. But really, you do make a good point - if anyone is looking to play this game, you can pick up the entire collection on Steam for $20. They're older titles, they have their faults - if you want an RTS that's entirely about medieval sieges, they're the best. Full stop.
Stronghold 1 has a nicer graphics(i love 2D) and nice music and everything,but this,goddamn it's sucks!Graphics are poor,and the whole game is in dark,no skirmish,game sucks!
You may not think it, but we at Firefly pay attention to almost every word you say. Whether it’s a Facebook comment, forum post, tweet or rant on your blog, if it’s about Stronghold chances are that someone at Firefly will have read it. The series has long had a devout following of fans, many of whom have been with us from the very start and we value all your comments.
Stronghold 3 is finally out and at this point we wanted to update everybody on our ‘road map’ for taking the game forward. As with previous Stronghold titles we are listening to feedback and fixing the most widespread issues first.
Initially we will be releasing a series of smaller patches to address any immediate problems with the game, such as stability, multiplayer problems and major game play affecting bugs.
Following on from this will be a series of larger patches that will add in refinements and features that didn’t make it into the original release, along with smaller bug fixes and improvements.
Once we are happy with the above, we will in the future release both new content and new features that we or you have thought of since release.
For us releasing a patch is not a trivial event, it needs to strike the right balance between frequency of release and having enough worthwhile content.
It also has to have a period of testing, so that the patch itself does not introduce further issues. Given Firefly’s small size as a developer, this will probably mean the initial patches will be released on roughly a weekly basis.
Rest assured however, we love Stronghold as much as you do and we are working hard on improving and adding to Stronghold 3 to make it the game we all want it to be. We will continue to do so over the coming months.
But an Admin on the forums already stated that there will be no Skirmish mode. It'll be interesting to see how long this game lasts. It's none of my concern, I support 'good' games, not bad ones, though I do feel a little sorry for the people who paid 50-60 bucks.
