I've got the same issue with the game CTD'ing as soon as the trainer is activated.
I'm playing on the latest steam version (current date 7/26/2012)
and I'm using the following trainer:
"PayDay: The Heist - Trainer (PATCH 07.25.2012)"

Yep! me too! sad... fired up my steam to play some payday today and a stupid little 5meg update for payday was dwnldin.. was hoping it didnt knock out the newest trainer i just dwnlded yestrday, but it did..

Same issue here.. crash to desktop on activation... using latest trainer and latest patched steam version of Payday The Heist

By this point I am sure they realize it isn't working. Lots of other games getting updated with the Summer Sale that Steam did. I do wonder how they view the month of July over there at Cheat Happens sometimes.
