it is if you havent played me2 with a me1 character but if you have then me2 is the better affair i saved the akrin and the warlord and the council and it changed the game playthrough which makes the replay value massive masseffect would have to be one of the best franchises around and cant wait for me3 but if they make it multiplayer,co-op or online i wll have a breakdown

I have played ME2 with an imported character from Mass Effect 1 and doing things like saving the council makes very little differecne in the story itself in Mass Effect 2 except for the fact that you are reinstated as a Spectre and that hopefully there will be an even bigger advantage in savinng the council when you play Mass Effect 3.

I'm not sure what warlord you are reffering to unless you mean Urdnot Wrex who I always save from being killed. And I hate to say this but I'm not sure what the other thing is that you referred to is.

One other note I think the best way to play Mass Effect is to play Paragon all the way.

I do agree with the idea that Mass Effect is the best computer game series I have ever played and it is the best work I have ever seen from Bioware.

by the akrin i meant the spiderthings that the krogan where used to defeat if you spare the queen in me1 a spokeperson for her in me2 tells you that they will fight with you against the reapers and saving the council and choosing the admiral to be earths Councillor changes your interaction with council and if you listen to the news in the background you hear different newsreports based on your choices from me1 and the interview with the reporter changes there is more but thats all i can remeber at the mo tho

Yes in playing Mass Effect 1 I did both save and free the Rachni queen and nominate Captain Anderson for the council position. And I realize that bothing things will hopefully have some kind of payoff in Mass Effect 3.

After playing all three Mass Effect games I can say that the payoff in sparing the Rachini queen is that in Mass Effect 3 the Rachini become a military assest in the building of the Crucible.
