DUDE....nice computer

This game sucks, PERIOD! 2/10 and that is generous
I regret buying it.

No...No..No... can't adjust graphics... Choppy...no free roaming...18gigs and not much of a game at all... just waiting for patch "1096"..... them maybe this won't be such a disappointment... Just about to go on "Why did i buy this game list"...

No, it's not. This game sucks bad.

First - vehicles - a NO GO in shooters! If I want cars, I buy racing games. If I buy an id-game, the f*cking last thing I want is cars! What do vehicles change? They make you drive several minutes between the levels. That's like 'loading screen 2.0'! Stupid, linear driving with no meaning, no point for the game. Just to f-ing drive! W - T - F ?! WHY?!

Then - technic. Okay, even DOOM 2 was great and the graphics suck. But RAGE? It has almost the same features as Half-Life 2, just without physics. Really! Same low polygons, same low textures (for today), only the animations are great. Graphics don't make the game, but id sets trends - usually. This game is an insult to gaming! Just look at the shadows or the fake HDR, for example.

Also: Gameplay! Hey, it's id! id means, run'n'gun, done. Not quests, no semi-open world, no crafting, no items etc.! That might be good ideas in some games, but this is not id!


- all together: RAGE ist made extremely bad in every single aspect. It's a fullfilled bag of crap. And thanks to Steam I can't sell it.

Game's a bit weak..it feels like it wants to be a lot of things but is falling short across the board. Like a mediocre borderlands/fallout 3 hybrid. I'm still playing, though.

Having said that, it runs well on my box. i5 2500k @4.2ghz, 8gb/ram, 1gb radeon 4870. 1920x1200 with everything maxed/on except AA which I haven't tried.

after reading all of these reviews I think I am safe to say that I don't think I will buying RAGE, unless its on sale for like $5-10.. lol

<3 for the feedback on the game, I was eagerly thinking about purchasing it for the past few days / week(s)

I liked Rage. I thought it was pretty good. I hated the ending though.
