so i can save my game anywhere now, i don't have to make it to the checkpoin?

Looks great, I like all the options it has also. However, when I am done editing and click save its stuck in the steam cloud sync window with pacman. I tried waiting 15 minutes, nothing happens. So I quit it, tried the game, it says my game save is corrupted... I had to restart playing my game. Fix for this? (i've tried running as an administrator, did not work)

TalonKarde: I guess you got your answer by now. Should you still be looking, then no, it just allows you to modify your game-saves (already saved/reached checkpoint).

TurianSpectre: Thank you! DISE didn't corrupt your game-save. This happens when you are for some reason not able to sync with Steam. Steam could have had connectivity problems. This has never happened during my tests, but DISE would be stuck there until you cancel it. You can simply try to sync again (maybe after restarting Steam). If it doesn't work, I suggest sending me an e-mail.

Ok I think I will try, How would I back up my saves in case it doesnt work? I'm afraid to lose all my data again. And do I even have to sync to steam? Thanks for your reply.

DISE can find your game-saves automatically if you use Steam. You have the option to open the folder, and you can create your own backups from there.

You usually have to sync because of how the remote storage caching works, or else the game will say that your game-save is corrupted. If this happens, just do a manual sync with DISE and it should be okay.

Also, you should know that after Steam updated its internals recently, syncing doesn't work in DISE. A new version will be out very soon, to take care of that problem.

I tried to turn off my firewall software when I am editing. Has worked without problems for 3 different saves now. The "preparing" window still doesn't go away so I just wait five minutes every time just to be sure its done. Keep up your great work.
