I've tried all that crap too and no go. My game doesn't even start. What a pathetic piece of crap. Why don't they finish games before they release them? Why don't they update this pos? I'm never wasting my money on another I.D. Toiletpaper-ware game!
I d/l'ed Rage from Steam a few days ago and also the latest Trainer. I am almost at the end of the game and have had no problems at all all running the game (everything maxed out) or with the trainer. (Win7 64bit). The game is beautiful and and fun to play and Steam seems to have there s--t in order. Google Rage forums and see if a fix to your problem(s) can be found. Trainer works;game works. Good luck.
