I preferred Digimon, the story was a lot better and a lot deeper.
I also feel bad watching Pokemon now because I'm very aware that Jessie had that childhood poverty where she'd eat snow if there was no food and she was an orphan, she wanted to be a nurse and was probably forced into a life of crime, however all that past isn't worth a thing. Nothing good can happen to her because the writing insists that she be comic relief as opposed to a character receiving proper development.

Maybe just maybe we can say Digimon had a better tv show story but when it comes to video games Pokemon wins easily?
