You have to use the arrow keys, first you move forward till you see the arrow pointing in a particular direction, when the bigger thin circle line matches the wider smaller press the corresponding arrow key, then keep moving forward till you reach the church front door.
ps. I also went into options and selected 'play with keyboard' on the input submenu. I don't know if that affects it.

it WAS a bit frustrating till i read about using the arrow keys when the pointers show up and the circles met, and regular 'WASD' keys to move forward. After that, did it in 1 try.

PITA, just keep on pluggng at it, you get there eventually, took me 10 goes before I got it, the worse thing is having to go through the fights before hand just to get to that section of the game.
