Achievements are disabled if you enable the console. However, if you simply stick all of your required cvars in an autoexec file and remove the cvar enabling the console, achievements will work.

cvarAdd g_infiniteammo 1


cvarAdd g_permagodmode 1

How do i put the cheats into the autoexec file I create? Do I just create a text file and add:

cvarAdd g_permagodmode 1

or do i have to put something like

set cvarAdd g_permagodmode 1

or just

set g_permagodmode 1

Actually enabling the console itself does not disable cheats, as I've had it enabled (but have not been using it) and attaining steam achievements. USING the console is a different story, much like in Fallout New Vegas.

LOL I'm up to 15 achievements and I had god mode and infinite ammo on the whole time! On a side note it seams as if most if not all the old cheats/commands from the older idTech engines are still present. Most however go by a different name now. Still having an unrestricted console/config, maybe us pc gamers haven't been forgotten. I'm just hoping there will be a good mod kit released sometime!

Here are couple things I found while searching through console:

For vehicle cvars just type "vehicle_" and pres TAB it will show all available vehicle commands like:
vehicle_god 1 for vehicle God mode
for different boost tweaks type "vehicle_boost" TAB

vehicle_boostMPH - add desired number to increase boost speed
vehicle_boostDuration - to extend boost time
etc...

Different player cvars can be found by typing "pm_" Tab
ex.: pm_sprintspeed, pm_thirdperson, pm_jumpheight ... etc. and many more.

Don't forget to add "cvarAdd" before every command to activate it.
