Enable the console by adding +set com_allowConsole 1 to launch options. Hit ~ and you can do a tab complete like type the letter G and it will show you all the possible commands starting with that letter.
I'm looking though for the noclip command if anyone can help me out here
permagodmode only makes godmode permanent, cant find the actual god mode though. doesnt seem to want to let me to change g_infiniteammo = "0" to g_infiniteammo = "1".
To get the console, in the steam launch option add
+set com_allowconsole 1
To bring up the console, press ~ in game
Console does auto-complete on tab, so typing in g_ and pressing tab should show various arguments. typing in the variable like g_infiniteAmmo should show its value.
To set a new value use cvarAdd eg: cvarAdd g_infiniteAmmo 1
This will make the value +1. To get it back to 0, use -1. It is additive.
Where does +set com_allowconsole 1 go? I've got the Steam Version but am a loss as to where write this in. Have looked in the Rage folder in Steam Apps/Common and didn't find anything there (missed something?). Also in the Id Folder where the save game for Rage resides as well (again could have missed something). Appreciate any direction you can give a noob to the game.
Go into your game library on Steam and right click Rage and choose properties. After that look for a thing that says Set Launch Options and click on it. Just copy and paste +set com_allowconsole 1 into the launch options and then start the game. I had to do the same thing with Vampire: TMB.
