As well as the trainer for the first patch, it says 'activated' - but nothinh works. I still die all the time, magazones get empty, ammo decreases. Why?! Why does CH always make great trainers and this one does not work a bit?

Trainer versions must match the game version. This means not exceed it either. Future trainer versions are not a cover-all for previous versions of the game.
It is likely you also have a region specific version that is different from the US (which may require a No-CD fix).

i just downloaded the trainer for rage from the site and tested it with current steam install.
