The new patch lets you alter video settings.

The new patch also broke the trainer.

Are you sure about the update I've been using the Trainer all day 10/08/2011. Not all the options just option 6 mega items option 4 money and options 2&3 mega ammo and no reload. Maybe I did not get the update because I was playing the game at that time?

Since I've been using cvarAdd g_permagodmode 1 and cvarAdd g_permainfiniteammo 1 I have had no crashes. Video is still lags some and audio is off a bit. I do not think the infinite ammo one is working tested it and ran myself out of ammo on my personal weapons.

The new patch, for whatever reason, has disabled all console cheats. I've put in all the ones I could find and nothing. LAME.
