I have been playing Shogun 2: Total War for about a week and have been using the newest trainer for it with no problems. In the last ten minutes it has crashed twice on me.
I was wondering if it is because I have built too many armies. Whenever I finish a turn it lags for about 20-30 seconds. This started happening today and I was wondering if anyone else had the same problem and what I can do to fix it.

Sounds like an issue with your cpu. On this particular turn did you add new units to your clan? If so, when you first make a new unit, you will get a small video tutorial about them, which sometimes can hang-up/crash the game if your settings are maxed. If that's not the case, I don't know....
There was a problem for a while about it crashing around turn 60, but I thought that was resolved by now....

I tried disbanding some units but when I went to save the game it would crash when I clicked on the save button. I deleted that save and started a new campaign. There seems to be no problems right now. I think this time around I won't create as many armies and see if I still experience the same problems.
i read posts players complaining about those crashes every day. It's the most popular bug and unfortunetly no one can do anything 'bout that. We must wait until CA releases new patch or fix to get rid of that problem.
Anyway, did u installed mods or anything like that? If i were you i would try playing without mods and see if game still crashes
