Well I am sad to see that no support is going to be giving for the GOTY edition.

Anyone know what the massive update yesterday via steam is for?

I don't understand. No matter what version of the game you have, the game updates to GOTY edition, doesn't it? I own a standard edition of RO2 in STEAM, and the moment I install the game it automatically updates to GOTY version.

PWizard mentioning "WE DO NOT HAVE THE GOTY EDITION" is....just plain weird. To me it reads more like "WE DON'T BOTHER TO UPDATE TO GOTY EDITION"

As such, ch staff should write off the part where it says supports "STEAM VERSION OF THE GAME" because as of now it doesn't. Its misleading and wrong. And while they're at it they should probably change the status to 'inactive' since saying it otherwise is also misleading and wrong.

I have Red Orchestra 2 Rising Storm. STEAM says I have Heroes of Stalingrad included in my game? I run the trainer and it indicates activated, in game options say activated - but they are not working. What am I missing?? Oops I just saw PW you retired the game, my apologize.

hello,
I downloaded red orchestra 2 latest trainer

and did everything the instructions told me

when i hit the numpad keys.. it only says "activated/deactivated" with no effect at all

for example numpad 4 is for no reload.. yet i still have to reload, and loosing ammo each

time i reload.

honestly i did not de-activate anti-virus sence i thought as long as anti-virus is notr blocking it then no problem

first let me say that I really appreciate your great work here. I have only now become a lifetime member and I already love the site!

As to my question concerning this trainer: I realised that the game is retired and no trainer for the GOTY edition is available. But, I managed to find my original DVD and install the game with version September 2011 (for which there is a trainer available). However, to my big disappointment (😭 the trainer doesn't launch but crashes at the authentification after a few seconds. Also, I have tried an offline key but unfortunately the trainer doesn't react to it (maybe to old?).

I am using Windows 10 (latest update) and I have tried the following recommendations:
1.) Running trainer and game as administrator
2.) Launching the trainer through the trainer manager
3.) Running it in compatibiliy mode Windows 7 (in combination with the above)
4.) Uninstalling IE 11

However, nothing, it still crashes. Any help would be so greatly appreciated!



Edit: I did try running the latest version of the trainer with the GOTY. This trainer launches but does nothing (similar to what was described by user2016user), so I do assume it is indeed only for older versions (I find no exact date in the GOTY version of my game).

I'm sorry to post again. I realise that this game is old and probably also this thread doesn't have very high priority. But still I'd appreciate if someone could help me out with my question - doesn't necessarily need to be an admin. The solution is probably easy, I'm just such a noob that I can't figure it out myself
