When I am in a battle the level up cheat (num 6) works but once the level has been beaten the levels fall back down to normal. I use have this trainer a while ago and i know it works and keeps the level boost after the level has been beaten. Is there something i am doing wrong?

Also I'm not to sure which version i am playing i just download/installed from steam the other day.

However, once the mission was completed, the stats did not persist and the units reverted to their original levels.

The trouble-shooting guide offered no solution.

I am reading dow226promo-readme.txt with both alacrity and the advantages bestowed by being a native English speaker.

This file contains no reference to playing mode.

If you actually had the full trainer, you'd have seen the readme and you would read what it says inside. I do not answer, nor would I care to answer for read me files included in promo modes of the trainer.

Promos are simple promotional trainers that don't really help very much with a game, they just give you small taste of what they're like.

It says SKIRMISH only.
But ok, seeing as how you can't be bothered to get the actual trainer here are some points of reference, which since you are here bantering on about nonsense you haven't read as well.
