So I was thinking of buying something on Amazon.com.

It's normally something over 1K but it's about 400 on Amazon.

I am skeptical as to how they could sell for so little and if the product would be genuine.

well it depends on where their source is. e-retail usually add lower % on their items then your local supermarket/retail store.

I get all my watches on ebay/amazon. They go for about 500-1000$ and are usually around 80% or more off because they bought in bulk and they are last seasons.

Amazon.com is, as far as I know, very reliable. I haven't ever actually heard someone say they had a legitimate complaint about their reliability.

Yes there reliable just beware of knock-offs or the one selling at the lowest prices. I had had trouble with a few sellers but most are respectable.
