    I've been watching a lot of commentary for games and I love the lets plays and want to start up my own. I have all the software i need for compiling the videos but what's the best recording devices out there on the market? Note that I only plan to use this on my PS3.

    Some brand of graphic cards come with software that does that. Check your graphic card driver disc if you bought separately.
    Oh and Don't forget some tuts on ASM and defeating DMA

    Oh sorry didn't notice the PS3 at the end :P

    You could always use a Scart cable > Video/DVD-r Recorder > TV?
    Oh and Don't forget some tuts on ASM and defeating DMA

    Yeah but looking for something that can get at least 720p. Haha I suddenly feel really picky.

    I use a pinnacle to capture all of my gameplay. Its a little spendy, but not TO spendy. You will have to buy a video splitter, and an audio splitter for any of those though.

    Video Splitter: Link (You will need to purchase another video cable to go along with this as it doesn't come with one.)

    I use all 3 of these products and they work perfectly fine. I hope this helps
