You're asking a question about the games they've probably never even played. The lack of offline options will be more and more visible because developers want to force people to play as a team and for that you have to be constantly online. I'm not saying offline skirmish isn't fun because it is fun even more than the multiplayer.
But I also fail to see here what kind of skirmish would Space Marine and Crysis 2 have? And Dawn of War 2's The Last Stand was designed to be a multiplayer co-op mode. How would you play it in skirmish? Alone against 20 waves of enemies who are getting stronger in numbers and strength?
I enjoyed that. It was fun and interesting to listen to *coughNicyourvoiceisadorable>.>cough*
Looking forward to the next podcast, although like forty-two asked, can the sound quality be improved? It was just a tad bit hard to hear what some of you were saying sometimes :3
Also, Nic should sing *looks around trying to think of something* 'Still Alive', that Nyan cat song, or 'It's All About Us' by t.A.T.u.

It's good laugh, this stuff. I enjoyed listening in, I didn't have any sound issues apart from Elite was a little bit quiet at times, but I heard you all loud and clear. Bes, I'm in love with your voice. <3

have you ever played killzone it had a awesome skirmish because of the lack of quality online play and you played against ai teams also the first dawn of war series had a last stand mod made by shuma that put you against 20 waves of increasing strength. I think its just easier for game makers to create a map and then let humans sort out the tactics instead of having to code bots to fight against just my two cents

Awww... thanks! Actually, a few minutes or so into the podcast I IM'd Elite because his mic was too low. When I listen to it, his volume picked up right after that point.
