So, the trainer activates perfectly, but after that none of the buttons work - they don't activate the options... what do I do? Thanks!

Sorry to bring up an old topic, but i just bought "Spore Complete" on the christmas steam sale, and the latest trainer for the steam(08.09.2011) one dont work, only about 3 options get the "activated" msg, none of the rest work, and i mean none, iv followed the troubleshooter guide, and im very computer literate so iv tried all the other things that might help, yet to no avail, anyone had the same problem but found a fix? and if not, or if a new version is out and no trainer was made, consider this a request for one xD, thanx as always.
Im having a similar prob. i activate cheats at the title menu, load my saved game, then after it loads, all i get is a black screen, but i hear the sounds as if the game is running.
edit: i just tried running the trainer after i loaded up my saved game. it freezes the screen, but sounds play as if the game is still running. im forced to alt-tab out and had to go into task-manager to shut the game down. I have the original boxed ver of spore, with creepy and cute on Origin.

Since you bought the "complete" version I wonder if you should not try the most recent Galactic Adventures version since the complete version would include that expansion. On a side not, Origin was giving this title away somewhere in the last year so I picked it up, and the trainer does work for me... though I really only played the game for about an hour. Hey, like I said, they were giving it away.
