I am curious about the Action Replay disc for PS2, on their site they have two products, this us.codejunkies.com/Products/PS2-Action-Replay-MAX-EVO-Edition-1GB---USA__EF000323.aspx which comes with a 1Gb flash drive, and this us.codejunkies.com/Products/PS2-Action-Replay-MAX---USA__EF000306.aspx which doesnt.

I am wondering if the two products have the same disc, and if so if any flash drive will work with them or if only the flash drive that comes with the first product will work with them. If anyone knows about this please let me know, thanks.

I would guess that any flash drive would work with it, but you would probably have to download a file or something, whereas the Action Replay one is ready to go out of the package. Your best bet would probably be the one that comes with the flash drive.

The EVO is the latest incarnation, which is easier to update just by downloading an update program from codejunkies. Also acts as a place to store save games etc.

As for any flash drive - no, the PS2 can be a bit snooty when it comes to specific brands and sizes, anything over 2GB usually is met with hate.
