Well the game is pretty good overall...My only complaints are dated visuals and abysmal shooting mechanics.
True, it could have been better.
Yet, remember the first Deus Ex, the graphic was ok for that time, but one thing did ****ed me off, if you killed someone and there was more than 1 enemy, the rest "magically" knew where you were hiding.... So even the nice games have their flaws
Just like real life, you would know from things like sounds etc where someone would be hiding.

If I used suppressed weapons, the enemies could guess where I am?
Unlikely, but in first DEUS EX they knew exactly, and where I was and were shooting from 100 paces accurately (even shotguns) as Robin Hoods
But in Human Revolution this particular thing feels more natural

I think the general rule is if another guard sees a guard go down, they know where you are. And even if you think you're hidden, you may not be completely- that's one thing which bugged me switching from DX:HR back to DX.
