Ehhh... DLC seems to be the popular choice at the moment, but I'm dubious that they'd go through all of this just for DLC, when everyone's probably expecting DLC at some point anyway (though I think it'll be at least a month before we see any if it exists).

As for a sequel, I think it's a little soon for that. The only games with sequels announced not long after release, or even before, are, for example, confirmed trilogies.

That being said, I suppose it could be anything at this point... personally I'll be a little disappointed if it is just a DLC/sequel announcement after all.

Seems like it could be a large DLC possibly another part of the Globe like London and involving the Belltower company.

We really didn't get much info in the game about the company and why they were involved. This may finalise that, and perhaps stuff about FEMA.

Will be interesting if Belltower is ran by JC Denton :P

Now talk of DLC's got me interested am just wondering where and how they will put it in the game as I see no place for it or will they do a modification patch to allow it? Now a Sequel hmmm I think its way to early for that. It took them all this time to do this and its been done to run on old comps so they can play to. So I think it might be a bit to early for that.

I thought the popular concencus for a possible hub DLC was Montreal? It'd make sense since there was originally going to be a Montreal hub and not just a single building but was removed due to time constraints, and it existed in an early tech demo so the groundwork would already be there... but I suppose any new hub would be a great addition.

Assuming, of course, that it was a decent sized hub with new, interesting sidequests and not just thrown together.

Well, they made the game in Montreal so I can see the appeal they'd have to make that place, but I think I'd rather see London in that time.

    Link

"According to sources of VG247, "the DLC follows events of two days spent onboard a ship. The player is isolated from the support networks found in the core Human Revolution game, and must face events independent of comm advice."

"While travelling, the player discovers the vessel is a floating prison of some kind, and that experiments are being carried out on the inmates. Environments include plenty of cells and a sentry tower."

Eidos Montreal is expected to follow this up with a formal announcement shortly."

So far there isn't much weight to vg247's article other than speculation due to their supposed 'source' since everyone is already speculating DLC. It is one of the few plausible outcomes without any other good guesses.

There is quite a large thread concerning the codes and their decrypting of the associated websites (13311tower.com, etc), and the end result was to the effect of thanks for playing, there will be something this Sunday.
