Yeah, i figured that. But didn't have any save back that far

Oh well. Gotta play it a second time.

I've read the thread. And the troubleshooting guide. And the read me. I've done everything suggested, from compatibility settings to clean booting.

Today I reformatted my disk and reinstalled Windows 7. I instealled Steam. I downloaded Deus Ex: HR. I downloaded the trainer. There is nothing else on my system at all.

The trainer still doesn't work. I hear "trainer activated" when I press F1 at the main menu. When I load a save and press any key on my numeric keypad, I hear "activated." None of the keys have any effect on the game whatsoever.

Please help me with something more than a paste of your tech support articles.

Obviously something on your system is blocking the trainer from injecting into the game (or you have the wrong version of game + trainer). No idea for us to know what might be blocking it. Perhaps Punkbuster or some similar service that gets installed by Steam.

The only thing I can think of on a fresh install from a genuine Windows is that your Num Lock key is not enabled (some keyboards have it disabled by default)

Thnx for the trainer, finally got it to work

I'm using the most recent trainer and the current release. The versions match.

I'm on Windows 7 64 with and I have 16 GB RAM. Could that be an issue?

Num lock is on. The trainer responds when I press keys on my keypad.

Game is constantly freezing on me with the trainer on,its in the same file as the game and my virus/firewall is off...... It will work fora little while but its always crashes on me? Is this happening to anybody else? What's my next step to fix this problem? The trainer version does match my game version! Any help is appreciated!
