Just wondering how many people would like there to be a cheat or mod that enables you to be a super powered beefed augmented human from the start of the game, and have all augmentations.

Basically having all augmentations will give us PC gamers the "freedom" to "choose" how we want to tackle a mission, without being deficient in our choice.

I dislike how game developers make games (like infamous) in which you have to repeat the ENTIRE game in order to try "small" things differently. I personally want to choose how I play as I go.

All the different augmented powers are just too fun and interesting to give up.

For those who are interested in watching some of the latest gameplay videos, look here:

Transcendent Technology + Greedy corporations + apathy/ignorance/fear/brainwashing = Deus Ex Human revolution

oh and, the games story is about 25 hours, and with side missions etc its 40 hours.

Augmentations may be easy to get with a trainer, according to this website they are point based, so hopefully no digging through files ( which people may do anyway) to get all augmentations:

    deusex.wikia.com/wiki/Deus_Ex:_Human_Revolution#Augmentations

"To unlock new augmentations, the player will need Praxis points. Praxis points can be very rarely found in the game world in the form of Praxis Kits; they can be bought from LIMB clinics, though the supply is limited; and finally, after amassing certain amount of experience points you will be rewarded with a Praxis point. Unlike the previous games, the augmentations are never mutually exclusive. " .. and

"The augmentations in Human Revolution are mechanical, though many of them are also electronical in nature. There's 21 total available augmentations, but almost all of them can be upgraded further. The augmentations are either passive or active; the latter require energy to run(or activate), the former are always in effect and require no energy. When the player gains access to the augmentations some of them will be already unlocked, for example the Infolink. "

It would be a waste to do that straight away because you are then losing the challenge and the excitement of trying to complete the game.

Having all augments from the start will make it far too easy.
Oh and Don't forget some tuts on ASM and defeating DMA

I agree, having allaug from the start makes the game way too easy. Personally I would rather have weapons upgrades instead of augs.

oh i wouldn't mind being all suped up from the beginning. i mean it'd definitely be fun to have such a trainer option leaving it upto the user to use it..or not.

Isnt that the problem with cheating in any game? but we still want to do it anyway. Just wack up the difficulty level as high as possible, and it'll still be awesome.

Thank you, that's exactly what I do, If people are afraid of having all augmentations because of the game being too easy, than all they have to do is play at a super high difficulty, problem solved.

Reason I like all powers/skills/abilities from start, is NOT because i want the game to be easier ( infinite health is enough to make any game easy lol, which i never use) But rather, because i just find having them are just COOL to play with, the cool factor.

Problem is, most games wait till late in the game to give you the cool over the top abilities, which basically gives you a relatively short time to enjoy their features.

It's more of a Gameplay "fun factor" for me to play this way, not because i want the game "easier".

There are two aspects of Gaming
    1. Challenge (dying over and over again lol)
    2. wow factor (bioshock's swarm plasmid, or prototypes tank armor)

and yes they both compliment each other, but what if you could have challenge, and complete wow factor from the start?

I know some people like to be slowly spoon fed their powers so they won't get overly bored to fast, but honestly that never happens with me if the game is...
    1. a good awesome story
    2. the gameplay AI (artificial intelligence) is over the top
3.and many things to do and non repetitive in the form of story missions.

AND THE MOST IMPORTANT THING..... What is the reason we go to cheathappens.com ?? To be able to have the "OPTIONS" on how we want to play ?

i don't like to call it "cheating" because that implies a negative social response, i rather, like to call it "Modifying a game to preference" because at the end of the day, your playing the game for your pleasure, right ? unless it's a multiplayer game, which cheathappens doesn't support because that's just wrong...

I agree with awakendjay totally. I would love to have an option to get the modules or points or whatever to buy upgrades at least, it's nice to have a lot of cool options in a trainer, especially one for such a highly anticipated game such as this.

There are options in trainers I don't use and some that I /always/ use, it's nice to have the option though in case you want it is my general point. I can definitely also agree on wanting to test a lot of those cool powers early on, that'd be awesome fun.

No matter what I think this should be a very interesting trainer for a very interesting game.
