This game is really good in my opinion. It is a classic dungeon crawler (old school) with strong narrative (lots of reading) and turn based gameplay. The developers Spiderweb software have a huge demo on their website so you can trial the game and make up your mind.
1.0s likely refers to the Steam edition since (That s.) the retail version (Or well the version directly from Spiderweb's website.) has been out since early 2011. (Slightly earlier for the Mac edition.)
But there was one problem (unless it's I'm doing something wrong) When using "Option 5 - Add Ability Points" it works fine, but it adds 10 Attribute Points and 20 Ability/Skill Points. However you can't apply attribute points without also applying your skill points and those skill points have a cap 8.
It would be better to have less Ability Points and more Attribute points for each code activation or have seperate options for each? one for Ability Points and one for Attribute Points?
Anyone else having this issue, or is there a way to add Attribute Points without also needing to add Ability Points?
And yeh it is great game , good to see gaming companies focusing more of the gaming / Roleplaying elements instead of beefing up the graphics and giving you game that feels more like the expasion pack of some other game...
Also, if you D/L'd the demo from the site and then bought the game through Steam, (it's $8.00 on Steam!!!) you can just uninstall the demo with the built in uninstaller and then install the Steam version and it will automatically find your save games, (in My Docs) and let you continue.
And the trainer works with the saved games too.
