Valve, the company that brought us Half Life 1 & 2, Team Fortress, Counterstrike and of course portal once made a statement suggesting that they would like to offer their new games as service.
This particular suggestion was disected to say that they would like to release a game, and then build upon that game with downloadable content, rather than doing what had been done with the widely acclaimed Halflife 2, where the developers released standalone DLC as a separate entity from the original.
This time, Valve suggested they wished to release it upon the same game version, merely as "patches" or "addons".
It is with the above information that has people in a slight whirr about whether or not Valve may be releasing the first DLC for one of their newer games, the April-released Portal 2.
Rumors are now amok about John Lowrie, the husband of Glados actress Ellen McLain, has said on the Twitter service that his wife has once again departed for the Valve studios for, as he put it, "MORE PORTAL WORK". For those not in the know, Ellen McLain was cast as the voice of Glados; Portal's "main boss" in both games.
Could this possibly mean that Glados has managed to make it into yet another story? And if so, could it be after the events of Portal 2, or will it be a parallel story, possibly even lending information on the creation of one rather plucky, if slightly irritating English Robot?
