Pirates of Black Cove Message Board  

As to the people attempting to figure out which version of the game they currently have on steam you can find out by doing this.

Navigate to the following folder
\Steam\steamapps\common\pirates of black cove\bin\x86\dx9

Right click on BlackCove.exe and go to properties and select Details tab.

File version will be listed on this page. Use the associated trainer for that version.

Also just a heads up it looks like Steam yet again did another update on this game this afternoon.

It is now version 1.0.2.7540
(the Trainer 1.0.2.7542 crashes the game since it's a mismatch)

Seriously another patch on Steam, now it is 1.0.2.7571

Perhaps in my next life game devs will actually finish the game before releasing it... 2.1 gigs in patches in less than a week.

Concurred.. that is 2 updates in 1 day... I too have 1.0.2.7571 now.... insane.

Think they better hold of on another trainer for a few days to see if steam is finnished patching

I just downloaded the new version of the trainer, and haven't tested it yet. But that is not what is important here.

Yet another "patch" arrives for this "buggy" game. It seem like it has needed to be patched daily since it's release - really poor business practices. Even with all the patches, PWizard and company have stayed on top of these changes and continually updated the trainer. This is outstanding work and shows remarkable dedication to their subscribers. This IS a sign of good business practices above and beyond the norm. Thanks, guys, for all of the hard work consistently.
