um i dont think steam patches past 1.0.6.8095 guys
I think you're right, I tried to play this morning (PST ),but the game crashed to desktop, not after pressing F1 at the main menu, but in-game after using "Numpad 3: Super Ship".
And yes, I purchased "Pirates of Black Cove" from Steam.
I also tried compatibility mode (administrator), alas nothing works.
The BlackCove.exe version is 1.0.6.8095 as you mentioned.

thought so so the question is what are we missing? as steam users
id expect this from metaboli and GOG and GF formaly known as D2D but not steam
i hope we arnt missing any fixes by not being able to have the latest cleint
