So I finally caved and bought and got a Unlimited Membership when I saw they were going to become 2 year memberships instead but the site can't seem to keep me logged in since then.

I want to change my password to bring it in line with the current regulations on them and make it more secure and I can't. I always just get a 404 error and find myself logged out. Tried like 10 times now.

Also often happens with triner downloads. I click the link and get a 404 and find myself logged out.


I'm guessing this is due to my IP changing since I tend to experience similar issues when using filesharing sites and my IP really does change. An admin on another site contacted me because I was showing like 30 different IPs on his site and he wanted to know what's up. If this is the case can't unset a flag or something on my account making the IP lock less stringent...if not what else could cause me to be constantly logged out?

Your IP address constantly changing could cause your account to become locked out. Our server is attacked no fewer than 50,000 times on any given day and so it is necessary to have these protections on each person's account. You will need to get a proxy server or static IP address in order to use the site successfully.

Well if I use a proxy site won't my the IP the trainer is linked to and the IP the trainer tries to identify with differ either causing the trainer not to authenticate or my account to be banned eventually?

And I can't simply get a static IP, it doesn't work like that down here in South Africa.

(I'm noticing by the way that the IP logged to this post is different to the one from my post just now so that's definitely the issue)

A proxy will not cause your account to be banned. Our system doesn't work like that.

So then you have no problem with me using Tor then for instance? Since I just managed to change my password using that and it seems to be pretty much the only way I can keep a stable IP for a session.
