It's seems I always find out about these things after they have passed. This is my first and last poll/post here and I can't say this hasn't come without some disappointment but sometimes sites like this can't help it (they have to make money). It still sucks so much A**! Maybe they will change the policy (not likely if they want to make an outrageous profit) or maybe the site will get some real competition and they will re-institute the lifetime membership but none of this is foreseeable in the near future since PETER EKSTROM, CHRIS O'RORKE, H. MICHAEL YURGALAVAGE are probably tired of just getting enough to pay the domain fees or whatever is involved with owning this site. I could very well be wrong as I am 75% of the time but I wanted to rant, for what it's worth (which is probably not much) and to say "EXTEND THE DEADLINE"!!! I will scratch together the cash but don't screw us less then a week late people just to help your profit margin... PLEASE.
We sent out multiple emails to every person on the site. We put a ginormous banner at the top of the website for a MONTH. We posted about it on the message boards practically every day for a month. You can't really say that we didn't give you ample opportunity to take advantage of the offer.

You pretty much couldn't visit the site at ALL without seeing this posted all over. Pretty much, you had to ignore the site altogether to miss it. I can understand why they did it and if you don't want to pay, you could always write a FAQ/Walkthrough. Becoming an author still equals a lifetime UNL as far as I know.
Pretty much as PWizard and Bes said, but writing a Walkthrough is a good place to go if you want those Unlimited Membership cabalities to hydrate your needs.
no...i think plenty of time was given to everyone. it was hard to miss. there was this huge banner everytime u visited the site. how could anyone miss that?
