For any Macbook users I discovered (a couple of weeks ago) a forum and program named Game Salad. I’m not certain if any of you heard about it but it’s essentially a program where you can generate your own game, it can be a contra style, or even something like doodle jump, etc. I know someone who is trying to reconstruct of pokemon silver for the DS and it is coming along satisfactorily.

The great thing about Game Salad is it doesn’t consist of super hard technical codes. It’s all in English and all you really need to know is your fundamental math. T-Shirt Booth who is a head-chef at Game Salad created many tutorials and videos for new users to learn from and help them through Game Salad. From my understanding with Game Salad, it was easy to use and I did enjoy my time creating games.

The paramount thing about Game Salad is if you think your game is laudable enough you can publish it for free and sometimes the app store would want to buy your game and put it on sale. You can put your game on your iPhone or iTouch and even play it on your MacBook or iPad (for free obviously).

So if any of you guys own a Macbook and are into programming, you should really check this out!
