When you say you're being thrown to the left, does that mean you're jumping to the left before the tentacle hit's the bridge, or are you still hitting the bridge?

The sequence where you have to press the spacebar is a few seconds after the part where you have to keep pressing the left mouse button. My suggestion is to just mash the spacebar several times, the icon marked 'space' only stays on the screen for a brief second. If you blink, you will miss it, it's that quick. I missed it the first two times I tried it and had to reload.

You might even be able to find a video on YouTube to see exactly what to do.

Go to options and set mouse setting to the highest level and return to game. When you hop on-board the tentacle just spam left mouse & you will be fine. When you get thrown off just rollover and take shelter behind the big chunk of rock and head for the fallen section of the bridge to complete the fight.

I found the best way I found is to reinstall the game I got thought that problem doing that and yes it is a bug

After the QTE where you ride the tentacle, it knocks part of the bridge down to the left that resembles a high ramp. Run up it to the top and it starts a cut scene where you drop a grenade in the Kayran and that's the end of that quest. Don't forget to loot the beast afterwards. It has a good trophy and and some alchemy ingredients.

Lower your screen resolution and it will work. Close out the game and restart and load.

most be a problem with your hardware i been playing them game since release (steam version of the game) and i haven't run to any problem at all. try lowering your settings it should fixed your problems hopefully.

Would someone thell me how I can cut off the first four tentacles. I've only been able to cut the first two and now the Kayran is just bashing around all over the place and I'm no longer able to trap any more tentacles.

Never mind I unchecked the QTE diffculty or whatever it's called and I was able to slay the beastie.
