I'm at the Kayran, and it's ****ed off. I have a sword, and am trapping the arms using the Yrden spell, buy my sword is useless. The sword will not swing - Garalt just runs around with it in his hand. No buttons fix this. What am I doing wrong? LMB, RMB, even dropping it and picking it back up all have no effect. Can't cut the arms off!
Also found a similar issue in town where I could not sheathe the sword and had to drop it and then put it in inventory to keep from setting off the guards. Related issue?
Well part of the problem is how they force you into a ARCADE (QTE) Segment in the game for this fight. Maybe this is from being a Console Port?
But most of the bugs are caused by DRM, so i understand that the 1.1 patch removes drm an fixes a lot of problems. Also if you get the GOG version, you will have less glitches due to the DRM being removed.
In any event the fight with the Kayran still sucks because of the ARCADE MINDSET.

well ive run into this as well not in any of the boss fights but the only way i found to get rid of it is to get to a new area that requires a load screen or the easier way load an autosave if you have it enabled should fix it until a permanent fix is out
hey friends...well i chopped the tentacles of kayran but when i ride his tentacle to give him a fatal blow there comes a sign when u have to keep tapping left mouse button which i do and it reach the point when the tap is full...but still i cant do the fatal blow...can anyone help me? pls? My level is 7 in that game..and i have Dancing star bomb with me if that helps.
I did have a problem with the bit where you ride the tentacle, though.

Once you jump onto tentacle and keep hitting the left mouse button, there's a brief moment when something else flashes up afterwards, that's "Space". After you mash the spacebar several times, he jumps off just before the tentacle hits the bridge. Then the bridge falls and becomes a makeshift ramp. Run up the ramp, avoiding the tentacles, then the cutscene plays.
ya thats wat am talking about...i've the problem while riding the tentacle..so what'd u do?? i mean...it asks u to quickly tap left mouse cursor right? i did the same...and the tentacle throws me on the left side. its happening since long time now..pls help. PS:-i know you are saying there will be a sequence where i have to press Space and stuff right? well even after reaching the mark where i have to keep tapping left click...i dont get the press "Space" sequence...do u think that wud be a bug?
