Either I suck at searching on there but only thing I found was a junk dismanteler. Which doesnt really help much.

General FYI:

After a bit of testing, the trainer that IS working for the latest GOG version of The Witcher 2 Enhanced Edition (which is labeled 3.5.0.26 when downloaded with GOG Galaxy) is actually the R+G 3.4 and NOT the R+G 3.4 HF.

In short, the trainer that is indicated as being the latest on the page for the GOG version is outdated but the previous version of the trainer which should be outdated works.

That is certainly a source of confusion for most people.

the fact that there is 100 editions, an HF, a NON HF, a R+G, a GOG, a STEAM, an ENHANCED, and so forth is the source of confusion and aggravation..

thanks for the tip. IN many cases where the developers have milked the customers by offering 100 versions of the games over time, trying one of the several trainers posted will many times be the answer to trainer not working..

I think there might be something wrong on my system.

I'm running whatever the latest iteration of W2 is on Steam, and I've tried both the trainer marked Steam 06.10 and the one marked Steam 05.10. Both have extracted properly and appear to be functioning normally. They are not being impeded or blocked by my AV.

The problem is that I get no audio reaction from the trainer whatsoever when I press F1, either at the main menu or in the game proper. No trainer activated, no trainer cannot find game, nothing. Ditto the numpad keys after hitting F1. I thought it might be my (relatively) new keyboard, but when I fired up a bunch of trainers for other games they give me trainer cannot find game as expected when I hit F1. So my keyboard's working.

Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong? I'm very perplexed.

Update: When W2 is not running, the trainer gives a normal "cannot find game" prompt when I hit F1. However, when I launch W2 the same problem recurs with both versions of the trainer. No audio at all. I minimized W2, and when I hit F1 the instruction prompt at the bottom of the trainer flickers, then goes back to its pre-activation state. Something's happening, but the trainer isn't activating. Again, thoughts?

Disable all AV. Right click run as admin on trainer. Run game. Get into game where playing. Alt tab to desktop and press F1 to activate and see if you get a response. If not, download a keyboard tester and make sure F1 can still be pressed normally when the trainer is running. If it activates then alt tab back to game and use options.

I was experiencing the same problem with the GOG version of the game, but I did as you suggested, tabbing out of the game after it was running and then pressing f1 and it worked, so thanks!

hey guys I am having problems with the trainer I get the sounds for activated but it doesn't do anything I think it is because I am running the origin version and the trainers are for gog and steam is there a work around in place for this already?
