You need to send the .exe to Cal. But! if he already has the updated version and the trainer works fine for him. Then it will be your system setup that is causing the problem.
To send the file make sure you have rar'd it in winrar or what ever program you have then click About Us at the bottom right corner of the page then click H. MICHAEL YURGALAVAGE in the email that opens up attach the file and then politely say what it is for. Note scene versions will not get any help at all.
I'm using the retail version (v 3.4 North America) of the Witcher 2 and I have been having a small but annoying problem for a while. I don't know if it has been posted elsewhere on the message board but it seems that the trainer removes the combat timer in the game for me. So my combat gets interrupted every time I kill something because the item pickup menu comes up or if there are torches or camp fires nearby, Geralt tries to light them. I've tried a clean reinstall, removing all my mods and playing without the trainer. The only time the combat timer comes back is when the trainer is off. Do you have any suggestions as to how I might be able to fix this problem? Is there something I can do on my end?
Very strange... have the Steam version of the game installed, and the Trainer for that version works mostly (increasing Geralt's max carry weight worked in some in-between version, that has been replaced since, but now fails, so does additional money, the latter is no problem used ArtMoney).
I today also installed the GOG.com version of the game, the Trainer for it will not even activate via F1... hmmm.
Not expecting any fixes, since the game is older, just wanted to mention the issues.
