I had an odd issue with my GOG version trainer (1.0.6041.43456).
The "oren" or "numpad 9" function worked at the beginning of my game. Now, several chapters in, I tried to use it again and it didn't work. I restarted the game and trainer for some preliminary troubleshooting. So far, restarting hasn't changed anything. Re-downloading the trainer was ineffective as well.
I've not used trainers for very long - so I'm unsure as to if this is my error or the trainer. I don't usually run the trainer in the background unless I need it. So essentially, I began my current playthrough with the trainer activated. But when I reloaded the game I didn't use the trainer for majority of my playthrough. Does this cause problems for the trainer?
I'm just confused as to how the trainer could work at first and then cease working when the game has not been patched. Please let me know some troubleshooting ideas I can pursue!
you can send us your savegame if you want for testing. this game is weird the way it stores inventory items and having various things in your inventory can cause the orens to stop working. it's best to get as much money as you need at the beginning of the game and then sell stuff later for more money.

Chaps having difficulty getting this to respond: Sometimes I find that trainers don't respond to F1, but it's usually if the game is run in Administrator mode, so executing the trainer as Administrator fixes this.

@Kahn06 -- We tested this savegame and it worked perfectly with the trainer (ORENS, capacity and other options). Either you're using an older version of the trainer, not following the readme or something on your PC is blocking it.

Having an issue. Trainer for Steam. Trainer activate fine. I chose my poison. Then as soon as I go to load a game or start a new one, the train deactivates.
I've had some trouble with my save - so I sent it to be examined. Like many other members in this forum.
I was told the file worked correctly...and I knew I had the correct version of the trainer, and I read all the trainer instructions.
AVG already had the correct exemptions set - so I did the last thing I could think of. I went to my Windows Firewall and made the trainer exempt from the firewall. It's a little tricky, the Firewall exemption dialog box is designed for programs. But if you select "Browse" below - you can select a single file on your hard drive.
This fixed my problems. I don't know why this wasn't an issue when I first downloaded the trainer. But still - it fixed my problem and I'd encourage anyone who is still having an issue to give it a try.
