I downloaded the game kane & lynch (dead men) for windows live: how do I play LIVE online with other people. When ever I play no one connects with me.

Did you get to put your cd-key into you Live account when starting up the game for the first time?

dead men is an old game it was more of a single player game than multiplayer

That is because no one plays the game. It is not a Live issue.

It isn't always the case that everyone will leave a game even if it is old.

Plenty of people still play Tachyon: The Fringe online or another space type game Freelancer.

If you have put your serial in and have updated your Windows Live to the current version, then log into Live in game when it starts up. Press the "HOME" button above your arrow keys to do this, and it should open up Multiplayer stuff.

If you have trouble connecting to any lobbies on MP, then check the Windows Live site for FAQ's on what ports to open if you have a router.
